What if my session is interrupted while I am in the middle of cataloguing a new item?
Never fear, autosave is here!
Victorian Collections has an auto save function which will save your work in draft form regularly - but ensure that you save your record as soon as it is created to begin the autosave process.
If your computer crashes or your browser is shut down the record should still exist when you start it up again. When you reload the website you should see a red bell informing you to finish an incomplete record. Click on this to return to your unfinished record.

Lost your record? Get in touch and we'll try our best to find it.
