To assist users to search their catalogue, the Date of creation field has been added to the Query builder, so that this field can be included when creating a query. For more information about how to use the Query builder, check out our Knowledge Base video, 'Conducting a complex search'.

The workflow for downloading image-based media items from your catalogue has changed. Where previously clicking the media download icon generated a new tab that the media item could be saved from, clicking the icon will now directly generate a download of the media file. Depending on the web browser you are using and the specific settings you have in place, this process may differ slightly, and may include a media download dialogue box. This change is part of internal development work to improve technical efficiency of Victorian Collections, and accommodate more media storage.
